Leather is Grade A Old World Harness Leather from the oldest still operating tannery in the USA - Hermann Oak Tannery in St. Louis, MO.
This is a vegetable tanned leather that has also been hot stuffed with tallows/oils, creating a strong but bendable leather. These oils will increase its durability during its life as well as give it the ability to form comfortably to the person wearing it. Because of these oils, expect some slight stretching as it achieves its comfort fit, as well as a deep darkening as exposed to sunlight. Known as being "the leather your grandfather used."
Belts will be cut to length from customers supplied measurements (PLEASE SUPPLY THIS MEASURMENT IN THE NOTES SECTION AT CHECKOUT OR IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE VIA EMAIL.)
*To take measurements, measure a currently worn belt from the leather turn back of the buckle to the most used hole - this will become your new belts center hole.
Additional stamping on belt tip can be done at no extra charge, please leave this request in the notes section at checkout.
Belts can be stitched or lined for additional durability and a price can be quoted if requested!
**Belts come with solid brass buckle in nickel.
